EHL Final Four hosts HGC have won the Alain Danet Trophy thanks to a 1-0 win against Spain's Club de Campo. Timmo Kranstauber sent the sell-out crowd into raptures when he scored a penalty stroke with just ten minutes remaining in an absorbing match. It was enough to give HGC the title four years after losing the final against UHC Hamburg.
